The internet is a drug surely not

Addiction

The internet has now being seen as a major addiction for lots of us, I tend to agree, just like this article states, I get wild if my connection goes for starters, maybe not for the same reasons mooted in the article but a lot of it is true for sure.

I lose all sense of time, get cranky when the phone rings especially if it is a telemarketer, they really cop one.

Forgetting to eat until very late at night, or skip the meal I should be eating now but I am not, do I care nope I don’t.

It says you should visit a shrink if you suffer these symptoms, do I look worried, of course not but I should, methinks maybe you should but like me you won’t

A friend of mine who I like very much is on the internet every minute she can find.

Now she does not blog (if so it is news to me) but she chats and plays games (as do I) until she falls asleep, don’t laugh I have too, I probably still will, yes I will I just know it.

I tease her about it saying her friends are in the black case she carries around, I carry one too.

Will we stop I don’t think so as there is so much information on the net.

You can join social networking sites, I have, some good some not so good.

Then there are videos to consider, yup videos so you go and put videos up on you tube and other sites I know of and am a member of.

Ah then you can e-mail the link to all your e-mail pals, they return the gesture.

I’m typing this between meal courses as I felt so hungry.

This Doctor Block was not just quoting us he was quoting Korea and China.

Who cares we in Western nations are just as bad, no worse their turn will really come.

Cripes I’m starving just a few more minutes (did I say that) I’m a liar hungry or not, hey you know what my hunger is subsiding, oh goody now I can really get going.

After I check my e-mail of course, maybe squizzed at a few videos, oh hell it is getting a tad late, no it is early the wee hours in fact.

Is it really that late surely not yup it is tomorrow go to bed Whizzer you have to be up in 4 hours.

OMG 4 hours I have to do the dishes yet, Hmm run water on them let em soak and do them in the morning er today

I know I’ll take a sandwich to bed with me; the laptop is already on the bed.

I need counselling yeah I’ll book an appointment, next year sometime

An interesting theory

I am talking the Red Chinese Government here not ordinary citizens just thought I would make that very clear to one and all.

From now on I shall just refer to them as Reds, I have always thought of them that way.

We all (or most of us do) worry about the fundamentalist Moslems and their terror attacks, we wonder whether one day they will take over in our western citadels; and with good reason.

Has anyone ever considered the Reds; I have, my opinion is that they will eventually take over and dominate the world.

Take this business in Tibet, we must clamp down on them; but our respective governments will not.

The Reds marched into Tibet in the 1950’s and took over

Australian products are expensive due to high wages no doubt it is the same in the USA and UK; most western societies then.

Why don’t we curtail our trading with this autocratic government and concentrate on our own, we could possibly be better off financially in the long run.

Find other markets why allow the Reds the best of both worlds for example communism and capitalism, which at the moment they do

Methinks we are a tad frightened of them; and now this debacle in Poor Tibet.

I foresee another Tiananmen Square looming here.

They are blaming the Dalai Lama for this as you probably know but how is it his fault.

One is a peaceful man the other is in Australian parlance a right bastard I think we all know who the peaceful one is.

To be blunt it is not his fault it is the Reds fault; I get sick of seeing the bespectacled monster in Beijing smiling.

I recall when the USA boycotted the Moscow Olympics and most of us here said (and rightly so) sport and politics do not mix.

I have revised my thinking on this in regard to the Reds; all of us democratic nations should boycott them and bartering with them as well.

It’s no good sending strongly worded notes of protest like some countries have.

If we make them lose face for a change that will hurt the Reds more than anything

But will we no of course we won’t we will just blunder along letting them get away with it as usual.

Read here to see some violence caused by Red Chinese cops to Tibetan Monks, I reckon it is a bloody disgrace; personally I would be ashamed of myself to do a thing like this

Tibet, together with the disputed territories of Xinjiang and Taiwan, is at present the biggest headaches for China's leaders.

The largest and deadliest hunter-killer submarine ever

HMS Astute is the largest and deadliest hunter-killer submarine ever built and has been launched 4 years late at a stupendous cost to the suffering British taxpayer.

Said to be more technologically and much more complex than the space shuttle it is longer than any submarine yet.

It is as long as a soccer pitch which makes it almost 97 metres long and supposedly as wide as four London Double Decker buses, an awesome beast by all accounts, the specifications are below this.

Nuclear powered and a stealth sub with a speed in excess of twenty knots so pretty fast I reckon, I wish our navy had one, it sure would frighten a few illegal’s if she surfaced by them.

In fact it is the first Stealth submarine of the Royal Navy

Her SONAR is so advanced that reports indicate that she could pick up the noise of a ship leaving New York from the English Channel; details on how are naturally classified in case you are wondering the distance is around 3000 nautical miles.

I wonder what the French call the English Channel oh just a thought lol.

Pretty quiet as well it makes less noise than a Baby Dolphin

It has a lifespan of twenty five years and could remain submerged for twenty five years big groans from the crew; that could never happen obviously as the crew need a break plus food.

Oxygen and water is made on-board amazing the technology we have today I reckon

More info is on here

At the moment she is undergoing a seagoing trials for one year and is supposed to go into service in august 2009 although I did read somewhere it was august of this year

Probably that is when she becomes operational thinking about it.

38 Tomahawk cruise missiles with a very long range plus torpedos.

A 98 man crew will be aboard her the idea being she will remain at or under the sea for three months.

No nuclear weapons for this baby though that is left to the Vanguard class of sub.

Three more of these babies are on the board as well maybe I’ll get to see one I sure hope so.

Here is an interview with its commander you may find it of interest

It will be based in Faslane in Scotland

The Buzz word

Yup that’s right Buzz our very own Australian social network.

This is the site where most of us on it are true blues, I’m pretty sure I saw it on StumbleUpon which is what made me join, being a member there as well.

No harassment on this site like Facebook (FB) where most people are badgering you to get this and that application.

This means when you log on in the morning there are not umpteen applications for you to accept or deny; I deny most, every so often I go prune out what applications I have severely.

This problem is not as rampant on Buzz as FB

One can join a group on it or not it all lies in your hands, you can start a group, but no pressure to join one.

I found it a pleasant experience; if I write to a friend they usually write back, lots of times on FB they just don’t bother.

Reasons for this well yeah, on FB it is hard to find a friend; this is not so on Buzz.

This was a pleasant surprise finding how friendly most of them are on there.

Your kin another point in question, I had (note had) 4 close relatives on FB only one used to write the others well they just used me to find other friends, they then amassed heaps of friends; I deleted them forthwith.

One of my e-mail pals refused to join; her reason, they are too young for me; such rubbish, I am older than she is but I do ok on there.

It’s true a lot are much younger than yours truly but we still write the odd message

Three other friends did join however, so that cancelled her out with no worries.

Buzz also donates to various charities, not quite the same as the causes etc on FB and other sites, and it won't cost you a brass razoo; the site does the donating

Videos I shove up with no worries, photographs as well, there is even a blog on there; I shall put this on my blog on BlogSpot and on Buzz and StumbleUpon.

You can find out more about this site on this link; you will not be sorry I assure you.

All jokes aside I shall still stay as a member of FB, but I doubt I shall use it very much use it much.

Come on Aussies get up and join

Easter this year

Easter this year is: Sunday March 23, 2008

  • As you may know, Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20).
  • This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify Passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar.
  • Found out a couple of things you might be interested in!
  • Based on the above, Easter can actually be one day earlier (March 22) but that is unusually rare.

This year is the earliest Easter any of us will ever see the rest of our lives! Only the most elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years old or above!). In addition, none of us has ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier! Here are the facts:

  • The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year 2228 (220 years from now). The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if you are 95 or older, you are the only ones that were around for that!).

The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year 2285 (277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22 was 1818. Therefore, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year!

Do things in life make you feel ill at times

Well this bloke does and the Rotten Bastard is an Australian to boot; that really sticks in my craw.

I spotted this on Digg I have often seen worthy news reports on there BTW

The man (if you can call him that) is a convicted Paedophile; proud of it too it seems.

See it on this Australian News report below

You might want to call in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to animals after viewing it as I sure feel sorry for that poor dog

One could say Thatcherism I guess in the battle to wreak back from the Argentine Junta of the day the Falkland Islands in the eighties.

Britain first of all had to save face after the Argentines took control first in South Georgia and then Port Stanley.

In March 1982 some argentine scrap dealers landed on the Island of South Georgia hoisting their flag, this brought on a fierce battle by the 22 Royal Marines stationed there, the whole action was condemned by the weakling UN Security Council; it’s still weak, some things never change.

The Brits under Thatcher got rather annoyed with this action especially when the only other British military defending these Islands consisted of a mere garrison of 80 Royal marines (naval party 8901) surrendered to a party of over 1150 Argentine special forces.

After all this, numerous and lengthy discussion at the UN The Brits hit back aided in part by logistic facilities from the USA at Ascension Island, the Airfield on there was leased to the USA which left Ronald Reagan a little embarrassed.

I have blogged this before over a year ago now; maybe more, these are just a few facts to jog your memory and to allow you to view these Videos which are in three parts.

The battle in the South Atlantic

The Falkland Islands is a group of islands first sighted by Captain John Davis in 1592 and the first recorded landing was made by Captain John Strong in 1690.

The Falkland Islands were originally controlled by the Spanish (Islas Malvinas). However, after Argentina gained its independence from Spanish rule, it began to show an interest in the Falkland Islands and in 1820 claimed possession of the territory. In 1882 a British naval squadron occupied the islands and claimed it as a crown colony.

When the Argentine gained its independence from Spain it ceded the Islands to the Argentine as I recall, so they did have a valid point I guess

After the 1982 conflict, the United Kingdom established a garrison on the Falkland Islands, consisting of naval, land and air elements.

The armed forces continue to protect the Falkland Islands today. Their mission is 'To Deter Military Aggression against the South Atlantic Overseas Territories'. The Falklands Conflict led the way in the Services working together, and this has continued to the present day. A combined force comprising members of the Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy are based on the Islands.

The Falkland Islands are a dependent territory of the UK and will remain so for as long as the Islanders wish to.

The situation in the South Atlantic has changed substantially since the conflict. Argentina is now a democracy, committed to the peaceful resolution of issues over the Islands.

A tribute to all souls lost on the Kurst

This Russian Submarine K-141 called in Russian as Атомная подводная лодка "Курск" on August 12 2000 was sadly lost with all souls onboard in the Barents Sea.

Her name came from the Russian city of Kursk; this city has the distinction of where the largest tank battle in military history took place in 1943.

Have a squizz at the video below music by Tommy Cox

Kursk was known by NATO as Oscar 11 it was one of the first ships built after the USSR became a sort of democracy casting aside communism, although there have been many attempts to go back; as yet it has not.

This class of ship was it seems the largest attack submarine whether that applies to all countries I just don’t know; it was 154 metres long and four stories in height, massive I reckon.

She was part of Russia’s Northern fleet launched and commissioned in 1994; she carried out a recon mission in 1999 or near about, a successful one against the U S Navy’s sixth fleet.

I think this was in the Kosovo war according to what I have read on various articles about her.

The flagship of the northern fleet was the Pyotr Velikiv; in the August of 2000 this ship was going to be the target of the Kursk in a training exercise, whilst performing evasion techniques communications were lost with the Kursk which sadly suffered a terrible torpedo detonation; the Flagship zealously guarded the area at the time.

Reports on this were very slow in coming naturally due to this particular country’s addiction to secrecy still they are not alone there I guess.

One credible report I read was the magnitude of this explosion 100-250 kilogramme of TNT and strike, me 2.2 on the Richter scale, bloody hell.

The BBC has a report of this

No need to tell you some of the grisly facts really but what stuck in my craw was Vladimir Putin the Russian president waiting 5 days before making a public comment; what’s new with politicos they are all tarred with the same brush I reckon, but worse he found time to send birthday greetings to a well known actress from his holiday hideaway in Sochi.

His excuses pissed me off; western politicos at least have the dignity of attending a shocking thing similar to this

Goodness gracious me

So staid old Britain had an earthquake

Not really funny I know having been in one but I was truly not aware the UK was in the earthquake belt as my Father used to say.

Well Dad old chap I guess you got it wrong wherever you are now

Not a nice thing to go through it is true.

The epicentre as the BBC termed it was in Lincolnshire measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale

Some comments included Natasha Cavey, in Tipton in the West Midlands, said: "All my cupboard doors flew open and the whole house shook, it was unreal. I can't believe it."

David in Alrewas in Staffordshire said: "The birds were flying around like it was daylight.

"It was quite severe. I experienced the Dudley one and this was more severe.

"I went outside to see if the roof had collapsed. I could see the furniture in the room moving, it was like it was on a jelly mould."

David Somerset, 41, from Driffield near Beverley in East Yorkshire, said: "I have never felt one as strong as that one before. I was in my sitting room and the grandfather clock was rattling rather violently.

"It was very strong; I felt the whole room moving."

All this and more can be read on here BBC I must admit I had a shock to read of it as I said I was never aware that the British Isles had ever had one before

Not before time and something that all Americans need to know

China Agrees to Open Records on MIA’S

It seems that 8,100 US Servicemen are still missing (MIA’S) from the Korean War and finally Red China has agreed to release records of these POW’s.

This took a long time even though we all trade with that particular country in fact we have for years lots of western counties do, my own in particular they flood our markets with cheap imports.

But they hung on to these records so that the families of these servicemen are still wondering what actually happened to their kin what a lousy way to conduct international goodwill.

Mind you they are quick off the mark whinging about missiles in space as I blogged the other day.

The image featured is very mild in comparison to some I saw so I will not put it on here but they appalled me and folk grumble about Guantanamo Bay I indeed thought it was bad there but nothing like Korean prison camps compare to it oh yes these camps were all administered under the control of the Red Chinese government never forget that.

They seem to have conveniently forgotten how America helped them in WW2 with brave pilots etc, the flying Tigers I think they were known as in the struggle to defeat the Japs.

Even this agreement is subject to limitations put on by the Chinese Government initially, the arrangement to be announced on Friday will not give U.S. researchers direct access to Chinese records. Instead, Chinese archivists with security clearances acceptable to the People's Liberation Army will do the document searches and turn over relevant records to U.S. analysts.

Figured there would be a catch to all this; it has I read see US Military been going on over many US administrations and even now they want control if you want the Red Chinese view click here; I never read much of their rubbish to be honest in fact it stuck in my craw to read such crap.

This is the same autocratic government that ordered it’s so called liberation army to kill its own students in Tiananmen Square a few years ago and they say we are warlike

Make up your own minds

I received an e-mail today from a friend it more or less gives the point of view of what it is like for an American Citizen to go and reside in Mexico, I must say I was staggered to say the least at the ballyhoo one has to go through when you have in the USA some Government representative's who want to give illegal immigrants certain rights like driving licences, medical help stuff like that, so I shall publish it on here.

Called an American working in Mexico

From the other side of the fence From Tom O'Malley, who was a Director with South west Bell in Mexico City : "I spent five years working in Mexico ..B and I worked under a tourist Visa for three months and could legally renew it for three more months. After that you were working Illegally. I was technically illegal for three weeks waiting on the FM3 approval. "During that six months our Mexican and U.S. attorneys were working to secure a permanent work visa called a 'FM3'. It was in addition to my U.S. passport that I had to show each time I entered and left the country. Barbara's was the same, except hers did not permit her to work. "To apply for the FM3, I needed to submit the following notarized originals (not copies): B B 1. Birth certificate for Barbara and me. B 2. Marriage certificate. B 3. High school transcripts and proof of graduation. B 4. College transcripts for every college I attended and proof of graduation. B 5. Two letters of recommendation from supervisors for whom B and I had worked for at least one year. B 6. A letter from the St. Louis Chief of Police indicating that I had no arrest record in the U.S. and no outstanding warrants and, was "a B B B citizen in good standing." 7. "Finally, I had to write a letter about myself that clearly stated why there was no Mexican citizen with my skills and why my skills were important to Mexico . We called it our 'I am the greatest person on Earth' letter. It was fun to write. "All of the above were in English that had to be translated into Spanish and be certified as legal translations, and our signatures notarized. It produced a folder about 1.5 inches thick with English on the left side and Spanish on the right. "Once they were completed Barbara and I spent about five hours, accompanied by a Mexican attorney, touring Mexican government office locations and being photographed and fingerprinted at least three times at each location, and we remember at least four locations where we were instructed on Mexican tax, labor, housing, and criminal law and that we were required to obey their laws or face the consequences. We could not protest any of the government's actions or we would be committing a felony. We paid out four thousand dollars in fees and bribes to complete the process. When this was done we could legally bring in our household goods that were held by U.S. Customs in Laredo , Texas . This meant we had rented furniture in Mexico while awaiting our goods. There were extensive fees involved here that the company paid. "We could not buy a home and were required to rent at very high rates and under contract and compliance with Mexican law. "We were required to get a Mexican driver's license. This was an amazing process. The company arranged for the licensing agency to come to our headquarters location with their photography and fingerprint equipment and the laminating machine. We showed our U.S. license, were photographed and fingerprinted again and issued the license instantly after paying out a six dollar fee. We did not take a written or driving test and never received instructions on the rules of the road. Our only instruction was to never give a policeman your license if stopped and asked. We were instructed to hold it against the inside window away from his grasp. If he got his hands on it you would have to pay ransom to get it back. "We then had to pay and file Mexican income tax annually using the number of our FM3 as our ID number. The company's Mexican accountants did this for us and we just signed what they prepared. It was about twenty legal size pages annually. "The FM3 was good for three years and renewable for two more after paying more fees. "Leaving the country meant turning in the FM3 and certifying we were leaving no debts behind and no outstanding legal affairs (warrants, tickets or liens) before our household goods were released to customs." "It was a real adventure and if any of our Senators or Congressmen went through it once they would have a different attitude toward Mexico . "The Mexican government uses its vast military and police forces to keep its citizens intimidated and compliant. They never protest at their capitol or government offices, but do protest daily in front of the United States Embassy. The U.S. Embassy looks like a strongly reinforced fortress and during most protests the Mexican military surrounds the block with their men standing shoulder to shoulder in full riot gear to protect the Embassy. These protests are never shown on U.S. or Mexican TV. There is a large public park across the street where they do their protesting. Anything can cause a protest such as proposed law changes in California or Texas ." Please feel free to share this with everyone who thinks we are being hard on the illegal's. TOM O"MALLEY'

Tom has a valid point thanks Tom

Here we go again stupid Pommy Government

_________________________

Claims what bloody claims

We meaning the coalition which does not just mean America, the UK or Australia is I should imagine getting a tad sick of all this crap posted on respectable websites.

This was still is a war against insurgents, we must back these guys to the hilt.

We may not like them being in Iraq but someone had to do it; do you think they like it there of course they don't

Our respective governments sent them there to do a job rubbish like this only hinders the efforts of these blokes who are many thousands of kilometres from their homeland obeying orders.

Now some Pommy Whinger wants it handed over to the British civilian police.

Get real will you for God’s sake.

It seems to me they were Prisoners of war, not a normal war either.

To the victor comes the spoils any bloody soldier will tell you that.

Usually solders are humane men there must have been a reason for these reports that as yet has not surfaced; it will I assure you.

Most soldiers are fairly good where prisoners are concerned; this is not a normal war youse idiots in Whitehall this is against insurgents who would send their own children into battle against you.

They are filth and monsters of the worst kind so should be dealt with accordingly.

I had quite a shock to read it on the so called esteemed BBC

This does not shock me at all Phil Shiner as you blithely said in the report.

You obviously have never engaged scum in battle like these.

Wake up to yourself will you

The British government in my opinion are getting weaker by the minute they need to put their house in order quick smart; yesterday would be good.

What a sad state of affairs

Our Parliament has turned into a farce

Four Opposition members were ejected for their unruly behaviour they showed utter contempt for our new Prime Minister Kev.

Proceedings had to be suspended twice; this used to happen with the old government now in opposition especially the then treasurer Peter Costello who acted like a silly smirking schoolboy in the house

Nothing has changed it seems

It seems it was his rostered day off (RDO) so an unruly mob of opposition MP”s had the hide to bring into these hallowed halls a full sized cut out of Kev

The opposition’s spokesman on indigenous affairs well he went even further calling it the RDO Rudd’s day off what a hide

All the this time Kev was visiting the flood ravaged city of MacKay in Northern Queensland and a New south Wales Indigenous community; just doing his job on his rostered day off good grief the opposition are a sad sorry lot

Space Debris plus The shuttle safe return

Success for the US Navy

I have been reading about the shooting down of a US owned satellite and all the ruckus this has caused notably with Red China and so called Democratic Russia with great interest, I have come to the conclusion that the satellite destroyed was American so who’s business is it, did the USA complain when the Red Chinese did the same thing with one of their own satellites well a little perhaps but not really why should they.

Who really cares what the Red Chinese Government think I don’t, I don’t think the US Government is stupid enough to incur the wrath of these two Governments either.

All they did was shoot the propellant tank which could well have been a major hazard.

Successfully as well so shut up China and Russia and worry about your own satellites in orbit.

Why America cannot test its capabilities is quite beyond me as I see it they did a dammed good job with remarkable precision

Yes the US Government did complain mildly after the Red Chinese did a similar thing; no big deal.

As I see it the Reds caused quite a lot of hazardous debris when they did it, the US Navy were spot on; good on them

Here is the video below just a demonstration shooting debris down from space.

Read about it on here if you are interested there are all sorts of arguments about it; I like that; we live in a free speaking world not like in Red China.

I have absolutely no ill feelings to Chinese citizens just their corrupt Government, I must stress this.

I am not that keen on old Vlad either in fact I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could spit but that’s me.

Welcome back to earth you blokes

Glad to see youse touched down safe and sound after your mission to the ISS which involved delivering the European built Columbus.

I noticed you never got shot down by one of your own missiles but I never figured you would.

All was ok they waited until you got home

Great to be back huh it is all on here should you care to read about it

Deaths from the second Iraqi War

The mind just boggles at the number of deaths in this country since the invasion of this strife ridden country a staggering 1,139,602 to be accurate, these I hasten to remind you are Iraqi deaths they include innocent men women and children.

Then there are coalition forces the largest number being American that’s pretty obvious they have the most troops there or did and are stretched to the limits.

The figures for those are horrendous. They are from 2003 and onwards.

This figure does not include deaths from the 1991 campaign either, what a bloody tragedy for all of us.

Not just deaths, injuries etc either it is costing billions to do this money that could be better spent

The number of US Military who have been sacrificed has been officially acknowledged

Between 700 to a maximum number of 1.500, 60 they are approximate but have still been acknowledged.

There are statistics from the WHO guess what run by an Arab good grief

We really should be ashamed of ourselves but then again maybe not.

There was a time when I stood up for these local folk in Iraq however I am changing my views somewhat as all it has done apart from the horrific body count has encouraged Muslims to get into our society and ruin it.

I am not a political correct person and never shall be, but these jokers are now trying to take over the everyday running of certain western countries, racism rears its ugly head here; I am not a racist but when it comes to these people well scum more aptly describes them; I am talking terrorists here and the suicide bombers not the ordinary ones who just want to get on with their life like us all, well then I guess I do have racial tendencies to loathe them.

Now we have this clown the Archbishop of Canterbury sticking his oar in where it is not wanted

Get rid of him Prime Minister Brown quick smart he always was a bit of a fool.

He hasn’t a clue what he is talking about; he never will sounds like he should be renamed the Grand Mufti of the UK from what I have read of his idiotic statements.

I have been reading an article about this on a blog I believe they are very biased against both Australians and Americans for continuing this war; it is a war against insurgents now so the ROE may have altered slightly; I’m all for that show no mercy at all it could be the death of one of our soldiers who don’t want to be there at all truth be told.

Why do they call mainly Americans the great Satan has me really baffled Islam came along after Judaism; look at the fuss and ado there.

The UK has a lot to answer for in this regard supporting Arab armies, training them even worse led them into battle, it is now coming back to haunt them but we should be very mindful of that; are we too late? Well not if we nip it in the bud right now.

But will we, yeah right I don’t think so

Who the devil do these Muslim fundamentalists think they are; I know what they are they are weak spined Arabs who encourage their children to be suicide bombers with rash promises of paradise while they still stay alive; COWARDS IS WHAT THEY ARE

At heart chuckling and laughing over their whiskey when they visit western countries along with call girls sometimes provided by their western hosts

Verboten in the Middle East but they get a liking for it all the same; one of the reasons Arabs are seen in Europe and America.

Look how they treat their women like beasts of burden is how, their women regardless of what you have read are second class citizens; I know I have seen it first-hand.

I was conned a couple of years ago by a once fellow blogger but not any more I have had enough that person and of the creatures who in reality have caused over 1.5 Billion lives’ Moslem's and coalition troops. Weapons of mass destruction creep into the equation here I reckon they were sent to Iran when things got a bit hot for that creep Saddam Hussein

What a tragic waste; it is rumoured oil started all this off well that could be right but when half baked clowns sound off about political agendas of certain American politicos I personally think they are wrong; I am not talking of any e-mail friends either, merely observing the manner and speeches of the US presidential campaign

I don’t really know a lot about American politics there is no need for me to do so really, I do hope however that our new Prime Minister Kev still allies itself with the United States over this.

I have had enough of writing about deaths that possibly could have been averted; it’s too bloody late now.

Now there are casualties’ some of whom will suffer for the rest of their days

Have we sold our souls Hmm?

-------------------------------------------

Sharia Law in Western Countries

Simply put there should be no Moslem's in western countries the UK America and Australia, Canada and New Zealand should not have so many of this religious faith mainly from the Middle East.

I have not forgotten France and Germany in this either there are many of them there.

The German government was outraged at what the Archbishop said or appeared to say, I can’t say I blame them either.

There are exceptions some are from Pakistan, Bangladesh etc as these were former British crown colonies, but still of the Islamic faith.

I was raised as a Christian (this does not mean I am a good one far from it a lot of times) these other Moslem's all lobbed into our various countries as so called refugees.

We felt for these people so we took them in sometimes angering our own citizens out of the goodness of our hearts and also because there are agreements with the UN in place.

Now it seems they want to run our legal systems; well some do in the main this is not the case if you read this report.

The snag with all this is as much as I would dearly love to deport them it is not feasible

Most of them are honest law abiding citizens but you know the old saying a rotten apple sends them all bad.

Its gunna happen folks sadly a few years down the track, at least I won’t be here to see it but billions will.

Now a lot of us consider the war in Iraq (oh I’m sorry just a cleansing operation now) was over and the debate is still raging as to whether coalition forces invaded, I was always of the opinion it should never have happened; sadly it did.

I do think we should all get out of there now we have other enemies like Iran etc, I often wonder if Iran would take their aggressive stance towards the Coalition (mainly the USA) if we had not gone into Iraq boots and all.

Hmm will we ever know this I doubt it so now we have another megalomaniac to worry about; this will cost more lives, ours and theirs; enough blood has been shed already and lots of cash.

Iran is not going away either something has to be done.

I get e-mailed quite frequently regarding this Sharia law and am of the fervent opinion if one wishes to live in a Christian society one should abide by their rules

Just because in their own lands they are ruled by religious courts this has never been the case in western countries; the old saying applies here I reckon I quote “when in Rome do as the Romans do” unquote.

A great Idea

Stumble Upon and entirely free

------------------------------------------

I joined this last July 2007 and I have found a lot of camaraderie on it

The amount of things one can do on there are endless really you can find web pages, articles, videos from a lot of sites not just you tube either.

Friends can be made very easily you can review a page of any stumbler on it, (I have had a few) you can also blog, so ok it is not like Word press or BlogSpot (you can find those type of blogs on there of course) you can put images on your own blog on it but they must be taken from the web.

At this moment in time you cannot embed a video on there but I guess that will happen sometime down the track.

There is another option you can take up (I did) become a sponsor as Stumble calls it; the cost is just a mere American $20 per year.

With this option you get added privileges below are the details

  • Pages We Both Like feature to see what you have in common with other stumblers
  • Unlimited stumbling within favourites of your friends See People We Both Like when visiting other stumblAbility to Create New Groups
  • Have copies of all your messages emailed to you (both sent & received messages)
  • Longer message history on your inbox and contact tabs
  • Ability to Turn off Sponsored Stumbles

1 Year Membership: dollars

Well worth it in my opinion, there is a tool bar you can install (highly recommended) it shows a pair of hands so whilst browsing you just click on your preference.

If it is a site or video that has not been discovered you can quickly fill in the form as illustrated in much the same way as you save a bookmark into del.icio.us, another story

Whales in the Antarctic and Cricket

The Japanese are breaking international treaties in the Antarctic the New Zealand and Australian governments are not happy with this and I don’t blame them.

Why should this (in my opinion) barbaric race of people decide they need whale flesh for research when the whole world knows it is sold in the shops or stores bistros etc as a food.

Think back you WW2 veterans if you were captured by this mob in those days you had to exist on measly scraps of rice thrown at you like dogs, their language in those far off days sounded liked guttural barks of command.

These same people who lost (or did they) the war is now imposing on the western world again.

We buy their cars computers and what have you but they are not content with that no sir.

Now they are killing a harmless creature (could it be whales don’t fight back hmm) who just in the main hurts nobody and just eats plankton.

A good site for the history of whaling in Australia and when it ceased can be found here, I recommend it.

It must be said that all these anti whaling protesters with their ships can endanger their lives and others at times; the bill for Australia to send a ship even only a customs vessel costs a considerable amount of money to the Aussie taxpayer (Paul Shepherd take note) at the same time I do admire them for their tenacity although I wonder at times if it is just a game to them.

This idiot here has other ideas it seems he sounds like a Brit comparing whales eating precious ducks bloody clown.

So yeah Cricket and I reckon that India are in the box seat tonight with day three coming up as I must say India put on a great batting display yesterday at stumps on the third day today we were still 204 runs behind a position Australia’s cricket team has not been in for some considerable years is the tide turning I wonder!!

The batsmen who I thought starred really well were Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Mathew Hayden and Punter Ponting; all bowlers really had to work hard for their wickets.

Ah yes and Adam Gilchrist made history by his test keeping record he leads the list in all cricketing nations; it seems he is going to retire according to this report

Adam is a true sportsman who walks when he knows he is out not like most other batsmen, I applaud him for that.

According to this news report the game is destined to become a draw.

There was a brief ceremony at the Adelaide cricket ground this morning to remember Australia day and also India’s national republic day

Happy Australia Day 26th Jan.2008

Australians are a funny lot, you'll often hear one curse,

How things have started badly, and they'll probably get worse,

The weathers dry, the sun's so hot it's stolen all the water,

The Government has never done the things we think they oughta'.

But if we hear a tourist say his home is much more grand,

They had better be prepared to make a very solid stand.

For although we Aussies may complain at what's become our lot,

When someone knocks this country, we defend with all we've got.

We may criticize some teenage brat, may even wish them failure,

But we stand behind them cheering when they're playing for Australia.

Because, if this is home to you, the country of your birth,

Then you back the native player to beat anyone on Earth.

When the cricket bats are swinging or when someone scores a try,

When a home grown horse has won the cup and made the owner cry,

When some paralympic athlete hits the front and sets the pace,

You'll hear "Aussie Aussie Aussie" as the crowd goes off their face.

And although we like to take a break in overseas locations,

If you take the time to question this nomadic population,

They will tell you without blinking that wherever they may roam,

The best part of the journey was the last bit, ....coming home.

For the sun was never brighter on the beach at Waikiki,

Than it is on all the sandy shores Australia has to see,

The water never purer nor the air as fresh and clear,

The people never friendlier than those that we have here.

If you venture to the outback where grass is scarce as snow,

As you swelter you may wonder what it was that made you go,

But just look at the locals who have lived there since their birth,

And I know you will not find a better class of folk on earth.

All across this wide brown country from the Cape to Hobart town,

There are people who will help you when you find the chips are down,

And if someone should abuse you, and does it just because,

Then that person's not Australian, and that person never was.

So when you feel disgruntled just remember this rendition,

And never blame the country for the acts of politicians,

Look up and count your blessings when you see our flag unfurled,

And be grateful that you live in the best country in the world.

What a sick sight for us westerners who would want this I don't for sure

Why do we have to put up with these invaders from Islamic countries?

---------------------------------------------

Good question simply put our successive governments administrations call it what you will permitted it.

What utter fools we all were and now sadly we are all paying the price and what's more we have raving lunatics like the American civil liberties union and like-minded unions in other western countries taking their side.

The political correctness policy our administrations have permitted has gotten completely out of sync for what it was originally designed for.

Ok so some smart ass will say but you have permitted foreigners to obtain legal resident status

A simple answer to that one is we felt sorry for them living in the filthy conditions found in their own lands further more a lot were genuine refugees escaping terrorist regimes, we were just being humane.

Look where it got us 9/11 the Bali bombings and many more all tainted with Islamic fundamentalists and their suicide bombers etc.

Look at this jerk could he do what he is doing in his own country, of course he could not it's just one more reason why he moved to a western country.

Israel was a prime example of this thanks to the PLO and HAMAS; things seem to have quietened down there somewhat now thankfully.

Meanwhile honest folk of Christian religious beliefs have to put up with this.

WHY THE HELL SHOULD WE? As I see it the ACLU was originally formed to redress wrongs in America long before these Muslims decided that America and other western countries was their version of the true paradise

I don’t know about you but I am heartily sick of em, a lot of us may not be good Christians but most of us were raised to be, besides it is your country and mine I am talking here not some crackpot Middle Eastern land.

Swarthy bearded individuals who deny their women any rights in most cases; do we do that maybe but rarely, on the whole we are all equal today and I second that.

A racist I’m not but when these people continue doing what they are doing I think a line has to be drawn here.

Take note will you Harper, Rudd, Brown and Bush of all this.

So why are they all still here are they better workers? Well in some cases that is possible and this brings up illegal immigrants rife in America; mainly from Mexico I won’t buy into that today, in any case it's none of my business.

On the whole this is not the case I myself am sending a copy of this to my Prime Minister whether it will do any good is up to God’s will (note not Allah we speak English here just like the average American) I was prompted to some extent to write this by some images of some happenings in the Old Dart, they are not recent ones by the way, click on them to enlarge them.

Just look at the helpless look on the Brit cop’s face I felt sorry for him

Thank goodness we have to get permits in most states to demonstrate, mind you that is mostly ignored.

Now I do realise that most western countries are or were obliged to accept some refugees according to some UN statute.

The United Nations is in my opinion a sick and sorry mob perhaps if they did the job correctly we may not have been in this sorry predicament today.

The UN should enforce the peace not keep the peace, there is a big difference in construing this, remember taxpayer’s money from all countries in this weak organisation pay dues and pay their military to be part of a UN force in troubled areas of the globe.

Getting back to the article I am writing I tend to wander at times age possibly who cares

It’s about time we stopped and closed up shop not an easy thing to do sadly, we have left it rather late I fear; all of us have if we are honest none of our so called esteemed leaders have much foresight; we voted these clowns into power remember that.

One solution is to vote them out of office once the chance rolls around again.

Hopefully the next administration of the USA will take steps to remedy this situation but I doubt it very much.

I imagine it will be much the same in my country, it’s said the pen is mightier than the sword but I have my doubts at times big ones at that.

Canada has just the same problems so I have read; also Canadian friends inform me of some events there; to be honest it sounds like they are suffering the same problems Australia, America and the UK has

Obviously other European countries suffer the same problems.

I sent a video to a friend in Arkansas the other day; I was assured by him that Americans should see it.

Depicting mainly the US Military helping AND defending other peoples homeland from tyranny, so have a squizz it's worth looking at.

Is anyone grateful Hmm I don’t think so, we also help in our way, help and aid is always forthcoming from Australia we mainly concentrate on our neighbours on the Pacific rim sadly we do not have the cash or resources the American government has else we obviously would help a lot more than we do.

I recall certain governments hostile to America (and us) asking for aid when they suffered an earthquake; something like that anyway and as usual aircraft were or had been dispatched.

This was the same country who embarrassed our allies remember Tehran I damn well do.

Conclusion WAKE UP AMERICA, AUSTRALIA, the UK and other coalition countries before it’s too late.

Somehow I rather think it is.

Comments most welcome where are you Bin Laden.
